Te Oro

Today at Te Oro , We made poi’s which is something that you use in kapa haka practice. Once we got there to Te Oro we were all tired and gassed from the long hot walk. When we got inside we got straight into it , once we sat down and Mrs fhiya bene instructed us on how to make a poi. We had these cubes of foam and started cutting them into a sphere. And once we finished that we cut our wool string to the size of our arm, and we did that with 3 separate colours. Then we tied them all together and then we worked with a partner for this next step and plated the 3 separate strings that we cut earlier on. And then we stuffed the top of the string into the foam and then wrapped a rubbish band then it was complete.

What is a smart footprint?

A smart footprint is the idea of taking charge of your digital footprint and thinking about what you post, or share, like or send on the internet. Everything you do on the internet is permanent, and you want to make sure that you promote yourself in a polite way. This poster show my 24 hour digital footprint and where I have been in the last 24 hours.

Embedding different digital learning objects (DLO) on our blog

Embedding learning into our Blogs

By Hayden

There are lots of different types of digital learning objects we embed into our blogs on a daily basis.

My favorite thing to share on my blog is an math presentation

The easiest learning to share is my writing in Google Docs, simply just Copy and Paste it from the Google Doc onto your blog. However, don’t forget to use CTRL + SHIFT + V so that it gets rid of the formatting. You can always change the formatting on your blog.

Take a look at the other ways below
