The Elephant that can outrun a Lion

The Elephant That Can Outrun a Lion

Back in the day, this story was told in the Philippines where the great elephant was borned. His name was Bolt the Great. His dream was to be fast like the lions but he’s never ran in his life before. He grew up in a jungle that no human would ever wanna visit. By the age of 4, Bolt would see the lions racing until he decided to ask the lion’s if he could race too, but their reply was not what Bolt was expecting.

They start laughing at Bolt and he gets bullied by a group of lions that call themselves scars, the scars reply “ you will never be as fast as we are “ Bolt ran back home in tears, he was crying until he heard an Olympics is coming up soon and Bolt was motivated again and tells himself he can do this. Bolt puts on his running shoes and heads to the track, Bolt is excited to start running for the first time in his life. 3..2…1.. GO!!! Bolt is very slow and is struggling to breathe but little did he know the scars were looking at him and started cracking up with laughter. Bolt hears them and starts crying he starts heading back to his house but then he meets a lion, at first bolt thinks it’s one of the scars and says leave me alone but the lion replies “I’m here to help Bolt”, Bolt was surprised and says,” I don’t need your help”, but then soon they start training together.

On the day of the Olympics, Bolt is at home by himself until he hears a knock on his door he opens it and to his surprise, it’s the lion that has been coaching him for the last few weeks, Bolt was confused, there’s no training today but the lion said you don’t need any more training, your ready and then goes on to say “would you like to join the Olympics”, Bolt was desperate and says yes immediately. Fast forward to the race he’s in the line and sees one of the scars in the line, at first he thinks about leaving but he gets motivated to stay in the race. 3….2…..1 GO he’s off and was keeping a strong lead in the first place but as he kept going he kept on getting more tired and tired, so that gave the lion an advantage and the lion started wining, but Bolt didn’t come to the Olympics to lose, he thought about how the scars treated him and he got motivated enough to fully sprint the whole race and beat the lion. By the end of the race Bolt won.

What is a smart footprint?

A smart footprint is the idea of taking charge of your digital footprint and thinking about what you post, or share, like or send on the internet. Everything you do on the internet is permanent, and you want to make sure that you promote yourself in a polite way. This poster show my 24 hour digital footprint and where I have been in the last 24 hours.

Embedding different digital learning objects (DLO) on our blog

Embedding learning into our Blogs

By Hayden

There are lots of different types of digital learning objects we embed into our blogs on a daily basis.

My favorite thing to share on my blog is an math presentation

The easiest learning to share is my writing in Google Docs, simply just Copy and Paste it from the Google Doc onto your blog. However, don’t forget to use CTRL + SHIFT + V so that it gets rid of the formatting. You can always change the formatting on your blog.

Take a look at the other ways below
